Bio

Suzie White is an Australian composer who fell in love with music at an early age. She discovered piano at four years old and throughout school she also dabbled in ukulele, recorder, saxophone and tuned percussion. She enjoyed being a part of bands, choirs, eisteddfods, concerts, musicals and even a couple of trips out busking. It was during her school years that she realised her love for creating her own music.
Suzie learnt about the craft of the writing music while studying a Bachelor of Music majoring in Applied Composition at Queensland University of Technology. She also studied a Bachelor of Education and taught classroom music at a number of primary schools. She has overseen a musical as well as numerous concerts and performances.
While on leave from the classroom to care for her young family, Suzie founded Anacrusis Music. This business provided a music and movement program for babies, toddlers and their families. Through this Suzie loved helping parents connect with their littles ones through music.
Currently Anacrusis Music provides music appreciation classes at a local kindergarten as well as piano lessons for all ages. Suzie has taught many students over the years and also played for school choirs, church services and weddings.
Recently she has been getting into writing more, entering competitions and doing commissions for her family. She has sheet music for sale, songs in sync libraries for licensing and has just released her first album. Piano Colours (2023) is a collection ten original piano solos, available on your favourite streaming service.
